About Kim

Therapy is an empowering experience which allows you to have a stronger sense of yourself while working on how to better manage obstacles. I work with people to focus on skills for how to move forward in your life. This is done by creating greater self-awareness and exploring difficult thought patterns and emotions. It is important to me that people feel understood and validated while also creating a space for self-discovery and healing. I work with people struggling with anxiety and depression as well as intimacy and relationship issues. I also specialize in working with people struggling with chaotic eating patterns.

I have over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist and am on faculty at Yale University’s School of Medicine as a clinical instructor. I am a clinical supervisor at Yale’s Mental Health and Counseling and teach a yearly seminar to post graduate fellows and psychiatry residents. In addition, I am in advanced training at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
